Growing up in New Jersey and having a dad who commuted to NYC for work, the city always had a special place in my heart. After watching all of Sex and the City, visiting a few start-ups, and realizing how diverse and unique the start-up community is in New York, I decided it was something I wanted to write about. Everyone always talks about Silicon Valley but here we have a whole different start-up scene.
Originally, I intended to visit these start-ups and do more of a full profile on them – with COVID-19 those plans changed. Through a series of articles written after various Zoom calls, I will try my best to showcase these amazing people and their start-ups.
